With a blend of economy and quality the top and base combinations we offer are ideal for coffeehouses, delicatessens, restaurants or the breakfast nook.

The tops are constructed by local craftsmen using the medallions we import. Each medallion is permanently mounted on cabinet grade MDF that is one inch in thickness - completed tops are 1 & 3/8 inches thick and are very durable.

We use either marble tesserae or 1 inch marble tile to finish the edges depending on the shape of the table.

Please note that all square tops feature double 45 degree corners to prevent injury.

Tumbled marble is preferred for all tops as it accepts sealers readily assuring resistance to scratches and stains. It is also possible to use sanded grout to prevent the grout from cracking when mounting medallions with large grout spaces such as the medallion used in the table shown.

In addition to exceptional strength, sanded grout also has a fine texture that adds to the appearance of the medallion on the left.

All tumbled tops are sealed with a water based and food safe Matte finish that is both beautiful and durable. Tops are easily cleaned with mild dish washing liquid and the sealer is readily available and easy to reapply if needed.

Even though the tops are totally sealed we suggest they be used primarily indoors and covered if left outside in inclement weather.
